Continue Your Growth with NSMT Continuing Education
Nashville School of Massage Therapy is proud to offer a variety of Continuing Education (CE) opportunities designed to help Licensed Massage Therapists stay compliant, informed, and inspired throughout their careers.
We offer the required 2-hour Tennessee Rules & Regulations course in a live webinar format twice each month, making it convenient for therapists across the state to complete their licensure requirements from anywhere.
In addition, we provide the required 2-hour CE courses twice a month on a rotating basis after the Law class in the following subject areas :
- Management of Practicing Massage Therapy
- Professional Ethics
- Substance Abuse
Our live webinar and live classroom courses range from 2–8 hours per class and cover a variety of topics designed to enhance both clinical skills and professional development. Classes change from cycle to cycle, so keep an eye on our calendars and social media for class subjects and updates.
Many of our CE courses are taught by Secret Doss, LMT, B.S, NSMT’s Program Director and Continuing Education Instructor. Secret is passionate about helping therapists deepen their understanding, improve hands-on application, and continue growing in the profession. We also offer several online (non-live) CE courses to help supplement your renewal hours. Tennessee allows up to 8 hours of the required 24 CE hours to be completed through non-live coursework during each renewal cycle.

Please note:
Tennessee massage therapy continuing education cycles run from January 1st of an odd-numbered year through December 31st of the following even-numbered year.
